Meet the Staff

Tracey Yurechkko

Tracey Yurechko is the Project Director for the Technical Assistance Center for Children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing at the Partnership for People with Disabilities at Virginia Commonwealth University.  Tracey has a Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and a Master’s Degree from Radford University in Curriculum and Instruction. Tracey grew up in Northwest Indiana where she knew early on she wanted to be a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Tracey has lived in Virginia for the past twenty years and has held various positions in the public school system.  In addition to holding licensure from the Virginia Department of Education, she is also a Nationally Certified Sign Language Interpreter.

LaNeka has worked for the Partnership since March of 2016. She currently assists with Event Coordination, Project PEACE, TTAC and other office support as needed. LaNeka has a BA in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations and Organizational Skills from Longwood University and currently is enrolled in the Wilder School at VCU pursuing her Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

LaNeka has worked with the TAC-DHH Team previously as a member of the Partnership Events Team, assisting with VNOC Trainings, See the Sound Visual Trainings, and ODUP. She is excited to take on this new endeavor and learn more about serving others through collaboration with this team.
